Accessibility

We want people to be able to find information about Endsleigh Walled Gardens and get in touch in a way that works for them. We use WCAG 2.2 AA as our technical target and continue to check and improve the website. We do not claim that every page or third party service fully meets that standard.

Using this website

You can navigate links and controls with a keyboard, use the skip link to move past navigation, and enlarge the page using your browser. Informative images have text alternatives. Our garden film has no sound and is decorative; the written page provides the visitor information.

The film, snowfall and workshop photo reel have pause controls. They do not animate automatically when your device requests reduced motion.

Limitations

On 10 September 2026, we checked all ten pages with axe automated WCAG checks, checked narrow layouts at 320 CSS pixels, and tested the keyboard skip link and garden film controls. No automated violations were reported in that test. Automated checks do not cover every accessibility requirement.

Stripe checkout and other external websites are run by their own providers. Please contact us if you have difficulty using a booking link or need information in another format. A full independent accessibility assessment, including testing with disabled users, has not been completed.

Wheelchair access is limited and we currently do not have an accessible toilet. The gardens are undergoing restoration. Please contact us before your visit to discuss paths, steps, parking, toilets or workshop access. We will discuss your needs rather than assume that every part of the gardens is accessible.
